Well, that was fun! I’ve read all the books I received for the 2017 RITA contest! Actually, I finished reading them several weeks ago and entered the scores online back at the end of January, but I’ve been so busy that I forgot to mention it on my blog. So here I am, mentioning it! Due to the privacy rules that surround the contest, that’s about all that I can say. I know, not very scintillating with the details, am I? Since I can’t say which books I read, nor what scores I gave them, I had to be intentionally vague with the picture I took of all those Post-It flags—didn’t want any recognizable covers or book jackets showing! Overall, it was a remarkable experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. There’s a lot of talented authors out there! The Romance Writers of America will announce the finalists in late March, so until then, that’s it on the RITA front. And, as an update, I’m currently formatting Clingstone for Barnes and Noble nook. I hope to have everything in place for it to be available for sale on their website by next week’s blog post!
